Terry Taylor first worked with Bill Wyman in 1967 when he joined The End, a band produced by Bill Wyman. Soon after Terry Taylor and The End moved to Spain and had a top five single, as well as appearing in the Spanish underground film, Al Escondite Ingles. The End metamorphosed into Tucky Buzzard who went on to record five albums, four of them produced by Bill Wyman. Three of these have been re-released on Ripple Records along with a compilation entitled Time Will Be Your Doctor, Rare Recordings 1971 – 1972 released on Sanctuary.

After Tucky Buzzard split up Terry joined The Arrows who had their own weekly TV series.
In 1974, when Bill Wyman was asked to put some musicians together to back Buddy Guy and Junior Wells, as well as Muddy Waters, at the Montreux Jazz Festival. He invited Terry Taylor to play guitar on the show which as well as being a great experience was the beginning of Terry's interest in the blues.

Faced with the onset of Punk, The Arrows decided to call it a day and Terry Taylor concentrated on his song writing, as well as working as a session musician. In the 80's Terry Taylor joined Bill Wyman's Ripple Records.
When Bill Wyman and Terry Taylor conceived the Rhythm Kings to play the music they both loved they had no idea just how many people would also like the same things. Terry Taylor has co-written produced and played on all of the bands material with Bill Wyman. Terry Taylor can also be seen on the TV series and DVD of Bill Wyman's Blues Odyssey. It is his composition, and evocative slide guitar playing that is heard over the show's opening credits.

At the recent O2 gig for Ahmet Ertegun, Terry helped organize the Rhythm Kings, and rehearse them, for the party that followed the main event. This involved the band backing soul legends Solomon Burke, Ben E. King, Percy Sledge and Sam Moore (of Sam & Dave).
