Blog » Bill’s blog – June 28-30, 2010
Monday 9th August 2010
School was back in for Bill on Monday, June 28 – with Bill and Suzanne visiting Matilda’s school’s sports day in the morning, then in the evening visiting Katie’s art show, which was featuring some of her work.
Bill says he and Suzanne had wine on the grounds and chatted to staff, as well as other parents. Bill then headed back home to catch the last of the day’s World Cup 2010 football between Brazil and Chile, with Brazil dominating the game and storming to a 3-0 victory. Bill says that Steve Stills then phoned and Bill invited him to dinner, before he relaxed watching some documentaries on TV.
Lots of football on Tuesday, with Bill catching World Cup games between Paraguay and Japan, followed by Portugal and Spain. Bill also spent time working on his projects and catching up on business matters, before staying up late for the sports news.
Wednesday, and back to work for Bill, with Bill up early and working on his diary, scans and photos. Suzanne headed off to visit Katie’s school for prize-giving at Hampton Court House, while Bill downloaded photos from the previous day and worked on them. Bill also worked up CD copies of several of the filmed items from the Stone Alone In Saint Paul exhibition and concert day – including footage from French TV and Jean Noel Cogue’s amateur film. Then, with work over, Bill had time to catch the fourth One Day Cricket Test Match between England and Australia, before calling it a day.
