Thursday 3rd June 2010
Following several days performing with the Rhythm Kings at various venues, including the O2, as well as Liverpool and Derry, Bill took a few days to have a break. On Saturday, though, he was up early to start working through his business correspondence, as well as scanning images and listening to music on his iPod.

In the afternoon, Bill divided his time between catching up on sport on TV, as well as working on the Rolling Stones archive. Bill says that David English called him just before midnight to chat about future Bunbury’s charity cricket matches.

Sunday was a special birthday of the unexpected kind – the 21st birthday of Bill’s Sticky Fingers restaurant – and Bill also spent the morning reading the papers, which were filled with the news of the up-coming Rolling Stones re-release of Exile. The afternoon was given over to football, with live Premiership matches between Manchester United and Stoke, though Chelsea battered Wigan into an 8-0 submission to beat Manchester United to the title.

The next few days saw Bill work solidly though emails, business matters, and in correspondence with friends, while catching the occasional documentary on TV. Bill also got good news on Wednesday, May 12, with his computer guy calling to say the new computer equipment for the music room should be ready in the following week.
