Saturday 13th March 2010
A busy day for Bill on Thursday, February 25, with an early morning start on working on his St Paul archives and continuing with the Timeline project. Bill says that a computer guy arrived mid-morning to help Bill fix a few niggling problems with his computer, and also discuss getting a pair of new desktop computers, and a new Macbook for travelling.
Bill also spent the afternoon discussing projects with Caroline from Ripple, sorting out correspondence, as well as reviewing future appointments and enquiries. In the evening, Bill says that Wendy Asher and her daughter Victoria arrived and stayed for dinner, with everyone talking about music and other subjects during the evening.
Back to Gedding on Friday, with much of the day taking up preparing to travel, then navigating the multitude of roadworks that were littering both London, and the M11.
The weekend was given over to a combination of work and relaxtion, with Bill diligently working on projects in the morning, before watching the live Premiership football action between Chelsea and Manchester City on Saturday afternoon – an amazing game, says Bill, that Chelsea lose 2-4. Later more football between Stoke and Arsenal, which Arsenal comfortably won 3-1. Then Bill was back to work until late into the night, waking to rain on Sunday morning and the promise of great cricket action between Sri Lanka and England on TV. Bill says he also worked on more scanning, as well as listen to song ideas throughout Sunday evening.
