Blog » Bill’s blog – 20-24 February, 2010
Thursday 11th March 2010
With Bill entrenched in Gedding, he was up early on Saturday, February 20 and cracking straight on with his project work – breaking to watch the live Premiership football between Everton and Manchester United on TV. Bill says it was a great game, with Everton taking the win 3-1.

Then, it was back to work, with Bill working diligently on scanning important photos and compiling photo albums. Fish and chips for dinner, then email, before Sunday, which saw Bill faced early on with a pile of paperwork that had accumulated over the several months Bill had been away touring with the Rhythm Kings. Bill also spent time installing a new A3 scanner, which he got working perfectly, then spent time scanning more photos and working on his photo albums.

Monday, February 22, and Bill woke in Gedding to find it snowing outside, with roughly an inch already settled. While spending the day writing, Bill checked the snowfall during the day with half a mind on the drive back to London on Tuesday.

Bill left Gedding on Tuesday, with the first part of the journey uneventful but – in an echo of the day before – he soon ran into a storm and snow and sleet near Stanstead airport, slowing the journey. In the evening, Bill spoke to Caroline de Wolf about two projects she hoped Bill might be interested in. The next day – Wednesday – was little different in terms of work, with Bill diving back into his projects and working through his St Paul archives all day, sorting photos and continuing with the Timeline.
