Friday 29th January 2010
The New Year kicked off with Bill spending some time relaxing – including taking time to take more photos to add to Bill Wyman’s photo collection. The first few days of the New Year saw Bill spend time reorganising his iPhoto catalogue, and watching football on TV.
On Sunday, January 3, Bill headed out to see a friend, then walked to Stamford Bridge to watch Chelsea play in the FA Cup Third Round against Watford – with the home term making the match a one-sided affair, besting Watford 5-0. After dinner, Bill got up on Monday to watch the second day’s play of the third cricket Test Match between South Africa and England, with England performing well. Bill also broke from the cricket to continue working through his iPhoto collection and reorganising his photos.

On Tuesday, and after a day spent watching the third day’s play of the third cricket Test Match between South Africa and England (and against a backdrop of heavier snow in London), Bill headed out with daughter Katie to the Royal Albert Hall to attend the premiere of the Cirque du Soleil rendition of Varekai. Bill was photographed when he arrived, and also took time to do a short TV interview, before going inside. The show, says Bill, was stunning – with extraordinary performances from everyone on stage, and Bill says that he enjoyed it enormously.

On Wednesday, Bill went out shopping on Kensington High Street for boots and shows – and triggering a declutter of his current boots and shoes when he got back home. Friday, and with the weather nudging freezing, Bill wisely spent the day watching the fifth and last day’s play of the third cricket Test Match on TV between South Africa and England, with South Africa well on top.
