Friday 1st January 2010
Bill started the day preparing for the final leg of the UK tour, with the evening’s gig planned for Cadogan Hall in London. First Bill worked through the morning, unpacking his suitcases from the tour, then jumping onto his computer to work through his business files. Finally, Bill sorted out his stage clothes for the night’s performance.

At seven, Bill left for the venue, along with Suzanne, Jessie and Matilda, and was joined backstage by Katie and her friend. Bill also had a meet-and-greet backstage with some competition winners and auction bidders from the dyslexia charity evening. Then, Bill Wyman's Rhythm Kings, as well as special guest Gary US Bonds, took to the stage at 8pm, to be welcomed by a massive, enthusiastic crowd who roared their welcome to the band. The sets electrified the audience, who demanded encores – with both Albert and Beverley performing Crying In The Rain, and Gary rounding off the duo of encores with New Orleans.

Backstage, and lots of Bill’s guests were there to congratulate the band on their performance, including the actor John Hurt, photographer Terry O’Neill, Keith Altham, Roy Carr, Stuart Hornall, Lana Topham and Jerry Hall.

The next day – Wednesday – Bill was up early and took time to sign 80 CDs for Bill Wyman's online store.

That evening saw Bill and the rest of the band start their slow trip to Southend to play to their largest crowd yet – over 1,500 fans had gathered at the Cliffs Pavillion to welcome the band. Both sets were lapped up by the enthusiastic audience, with a trio of encores including Crying In The Rain, I Put A Spell On You, and New Orleans. The band left the stage with a resounding ovation ringing throughout the venue, and Bill went backstage to meet with friends, including David Brabbing, who presented Bill with two frames gifts of Crystal Palace programmes for his collection.

A short break, then onto the second set played to a warmed up crowd, and included This Is A Man's World (Beverley), Just Your Fool (Frank), Race With The Devil (Terry), Cakewalk Into Town (Geraint), I Just Wanna Make Love To You (Beverley), Whine (Gary), Quarter To Three (Gary), Johnny B Goode (Geraint), Just For A Thrill (Georgie), Jump Jive And Wail (Albert), and Honky Tonk Women (Bill).
