Bill started the day waking in Barnstable for the evening’s concert with the Rhythm Kings featuring special guest Gary US Bonds. After working through the morning on business, Bill headed down to the hotel restaurant at lunchtime for a meal with Tony, Frank, Beverley, Terry, Nick and Geraint. After shopping in the afternoon, Bill then headed to the Queen’s Theatre for a 7:45pm start, playing to a sold-out crowd who gave the band a fantastic welcome.

With the concert generating demands for encores, Bill and the rest of the line-up performed Crying In The Rain (Beverley), I Put A Spell On You (Beverley), and finished off with Gary singing New Orleans.

From Barnstable to Plymouth on Sunday, November 29, with Bill boarding the bus just after lunch, playing cards as it hurtled through the rain. After arriving in the afternoon in time to catch the live Premiership football action between Arsenal and Chelsea, Bill and the rest of the Rhythm Kings headed to the Theatre Royal, again playing to a sell-out crowd. Bill also took some time before the concert to sign autographs for the waiting crowd. As in Barnstable, encores were demanded by the crowd, which the group happily provided.

On Monday, Bill had a day off from touring, taking a break and heading back to London, arriving in the afternoon – only to be met with a huge pile of paperwork and correspondence, which Bill then ploughed through in the afternoon.
