With the final packing completed, Bill Wyman left with Terry for the Eurostar to Brussels, Belgium, and then onto Cologne in Germany ready for the first part of the Rhythm Kings tour. Bill was staying at the Hotel Mondial am Dom, and headed out with Terry for a meal in the evening.

On Monday, Bill and Terry boarded a train for Hamburg, and while Bill says that the journey was uneventful, he took several test photos with his new Nikon P30 camera. In the evening, Bill and Terry took the direct train to Copenhagen, before boarding the ferry to Denmark, then back onto a train for Copenhagen, arriving just before midnight. Bill dropped off his bags at the SAS Radisson Falconer Hotel, then went downstairs for a drink in the cocktail bar with Tony, Nick, Frank (who was on crutches with a broken foot), and Terry.

With the epic trip to Copenhagen behind him, Bill was up and discussing the gigs on Tuesday morning, then spent some time downloading his experimental photos (including the photo pictured) and working on them. In the afternoon, Bill went to the Falconer theatre for a sound check ready for the evening concert.

With a capacity of 2,000, the first of the three Danish gigs got off to great start, with the Rhythm Kings line-up including Graham Broad (drums), Bill Wyman (bass and vocals), Georgie Fame (organ and vocals), Geraint Watkins (piano, accordian and vocals), Terry Taylor (guitar and vocals), Beverley Skeete (vocals), and both Frank Mead and Nick Payn on horns, percussion and harmonica.

With the first gig over, the following morning the band travelled by bus to Aarhus, with Bill saying the venue – Musikhuset - was a really nice theatre, and had a capacity of nearly 1,600. Bill and the band played the same set as the previous night, with a fantastic standing ovation at the end following the encores.

But not rest for Bill and the Rhythm Kings. Thursday saw the band back on the road, driving to Esbjerg by bus, before doing a sound check (which Bill says was very good). The Musikhuset in Esbjerb had a capacity of 1,063, with the band playing I Got A Woman (Georgie), Show Me (Beverley), Chicken Shack Boogie (Geraint), Too Late (Terry), Anyway The Wind Blows (Georgie), All Night Long (Bill), Melody (Georgie and Beverley), Maggie's Farm (Geraint), Three Cool Cats (Georgie), Sweet Soul Music (Beverley) and You Never Can Tell (Bill) for the first set.
