Saturday 31st January 2009
It’s always good to grab some relaxation time, and Bill used his free time on Saturday, January 10, to watch some football matches on the TV, including a match between Aston Villa and WBA, which Aston Villa won 2-1. Suzanne and the girls arrived back in London from holiday, and Bill says they all looked really well from their skiing break.

On Sunday, Bill worked on his diary and also information relating to a book project throughout the day, breaking off to watch more football, this time a match between Manchester United and Chelsea that was a three-goal thriller, and also between Wigan and Tottenham. A quick dinner from Sticky Fingers rounded off the day.

Monday followed the same pattern – sans football matches – with Bill immersed in his book project, as well as catching up on email.

On Tuesday, Bill pointed out an article in The Times by Adam Sherwin headed Saturday Night Fever To Bubble Up Again:

Adam Sherwin (Times 13.1.09) said: “…Robin Gibb leading an all-star band [Rhythm Kings] including Bill Wyman and Mel C, through a night of Bee Gee classics at a ball in Battersea to raise funds for the Outward Bound Trust…”

Bill then continued working on his book project on into Wednesday, as well as discussing various projects throughout the day. Roll on Saturday again!
